This course teaches how to be highly efficient and effective in massage application for isolated regions - those regions generally complained about by clients. It includes techniques and body positions for both the therapist and the client that enhance results through client trust - creating the ability to "let go."

Main anatomical areas of focus are the neck, anterior-lateral-posterior torso, pelvic, shoulders, upper arms, chest and upper legs. (Other areas will be addressed in future courses). For lasting therapy results flexibility and coordination modalities are introduced into technique application. Therapist will learn how to work longer with less stress.

This seminar is great for any type of learner and holds interest for both the novice and advanced therapist.

Prerequisites for this seminar: Therapists attending this seminar are expected to have an active professional license or professional certification in massage therapy, or are re-activating an inactive license. Plan to receive a lot of bodywork in this seminar.

Items to bring: Each student is required to bring:

Ø       2 THICK bath-sized towels (4 per table)

Ø       2 THICK pillows (4 per table)

Ø       lotion (not oil)

Ø       Massage table

Ø       Sheets (one fitted, one cover)

Ø       Wear LOOSE tank tops and LOOSE shorts); bathing suit not necessary when wearing tank tops/shorts
