We at S. O. M. Therapy & Associates, Inc. respect the sacrifices made to obtain professional licensure. No one should ever feel that keeping it is financially impossible or that quality will be sacrificed if the price is less.
OUR PHILOSOPHY: Making a difference is in acting upon the knowledge that better education means better therapy. This belief leads to safer, more effective massage therapy in our modern, integrative health care world.
 Diana Herec, President. and primary CE author, teacher of technique application and skill enhancement, collects research material used for development of continuing education home study programs and seminars and delivers this sophisticated material in a comprehensive and enjoyable manner. As an example of educational references, many S.O.M. courses take up to one year of hands-on and other research before putting into print. Leading-edge information is gathered from several sources: medical and other publications, internet, over 30 years field experience, periodicals, world and local news, documentaries, radio programs, our own interviews with medical and other professionals, local and overseas teaching (in hospital and clinical facilities), and from six weeks to one year of hands-on, charted research with the public for each subject matter taught.
 Allan Herec, Vice President. Besides massage licensure, co-authoring status with S.O.M., and teacher with the Medical Magnet Program for Palm Beach County School Board, Mr. Herec has a BBA in finance and international business. His seminar directorship ranges from locating the perfect learning environment to coordination of entire seminars. He also presents educational lectures, demonstrations and is responsible for operations oversight.
 Miguel L. Benavente, MD, MS, LMT, is Director of Medical Magnet Programs for the Palm Beach County School Board. He holds numerous awards for teaching and educational development in the sciences and is part of our team for communication and bridge building between massage therapists and other medical professionals. His combined knowledge in traditional medicine and massage therapy assists therapists at the highest level of learning.
Each instructor brings years of professional experience and knowledge to help therapists put it all together for a fine-tuned education experience and successful business growth, with highest regard to patient/client care.
